Ramsey Pre-school - Caring for Ramsey's pre-schoolers since 1969
Aims

Our management committee has set the following aims for our pre-school:

  • Our setting aims to provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age.
  • We work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop.
  • We offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
  • Support fundamental British values where we embrace equality, acceptance, pride within our community, incorporate beliefs and work together.
  • We add to the life and well being of the community.
  • We aim to ensure that each child is in a safe and stimulating environment and are given generous care and attention because of our ratio of qualified staff to children.
  • We make sure each child has the chance to join with other children and adults and learn together and that they are helped and encouraged to take forward her/his learning and development by being helped to build on what she/he already knows and can do.
  • Each child has a personal key worker who encourages children to progress and develop, keeps up to date records of their progress and liaise with parents.
  • Our setting aims to see parents as partners in helping each child to learn and develop; and encourages close working relationships with parents to shape the service it offers.
  • We aim to get the children involved and familiar with their local community, which include taking them on outings to the park, churches, shops or just nature walks around the area.
  • We are aiming to achieve an Outstanding OFSTED report.
